Truancy Diversion Program

Russell County Attorney's Office

The Russell County Attorney’s Office offers a diversion program for individuals charged with certain Truancy offenses.  The County Attorney Truancy Diversion Program or "CATS" Program provides those cited with minor Truancy offenses the opportunity to watch an online Truancy course as an alternative to appearing in court and being convicted.  The charges will be dismissed for those that successfully complete the program.  The cost of the program is $180.00.

To enroll in the CATS Program please print the program application located on this page in the Truancy drop down menu on this site and follow the enrollment instructions on the application or you may contact Melissa Voils at 270-343-2121 to enroll by phone or get further information.
