The Russell County Attorney’s Office offers a diversion program for individuals charged with certain anger management offenses. The County Attorney Anger Management Diversion Program or "CATS" Program provides those cited with minor anger offenses the opportunity to watch an online anger management course as an alternative to appearing in court and being convicted. The charges will be dismissed for those that successfully complete the program. The cost of the program is $180.00.
