The Russell County Attorney’s Office offers a diversion program for individuals charged with certain hunting violations offenses. The County Attorney Hunting Violation Diversion Program or "CATS" Program provides those cited with minor hunting offenses the opportunity to watch an online Hunting Violations course as an alternative to appearing in court and being convicted. The charges will be dismissed for those that successfully complete the program. The cost of the program is $180.00.
To enroll in the CATS Program please print the program application located on this page in the hunting violation diversion drop down menu on this site and follow the enrollment instructions on the application or you may contact Melissa Voils at 270-343-2121 to enroll by phone or get further information.
