The Russell County Attorney’s Office offers a diversion program for individuals charged with certain Substance abuse offenses. The County Attorney Substance Abuse Diversion Program or "CATS" Program provides those cited with minor substance abuse offenses the opportunity to watch an online Substance Abuse course as an alternative to appearing in court and being convicted. The charges will be dismissed for those that successfully complete the program. The cost of the program is $180.00.
To enroll in the CATS Program please print the program application located on this page in the Substance Abuse drop down menu on this site and follow the enrollment instructions on the application or you may contact Melissa Voils at 270-343-2121 to enroll by phone or get further information.
